The Lost Music of Canterbury with Blue Heron

Continuing on from Blue Heron’s recently completed 5-CD recording project, this program explores more polyphonic music from the the 16th-century Peterhouse Partbooks, which were missing for centuries before being restored by English musicologist Nick Sandon. This concert is part of Blue Heron’s subscription series in First Church, Cambridge.

Angel Spirits: Music of World War I

In recognition of the centenary of World War One, David, soprano Deborah Selig and pianist Clifton J. Noble present a recital of songs written during and inspired by that era. This performance is presented in Harvard University’s Memorial Church, built to honor the Harvard students killed during the “Great War”. Free admission.
